Front end product designer

Your role

As a Front End Product Designer, you will design products and systems that offer a great user experience. You translate the client’s briefing into design requirements. You research the best technology, production methods, and materials, lead design workshops, and build a convincing case to support your ideas in various stages of the design process. As a Front End Product Designer, you take user experience, safety, visual appeal, cost-effectiveness, and impact on the environment into account. You are supported by a team of engineers, model makers, sales, and marketing staff to come up with the best result possible.

What we are looking for

You have a Master’s degree in Industrial Design or equivalent.
You understand different materials and production methods.
You are creative, think fast, and out of the box.
You can combine design with functionality in product development.
You can communicate your ideas to people with varying levels of technical knowledge and can sell your vision, supported by clear, concise reports and research.
You can use drawings, 3D models, and computer designs to express your ideas.
You cope well with deadlines and budgets and are determined to tackle any challenge.
