System Engineer

Your role

As a System Engineer, you will manage projects that involve mechanical, electronical and mechatronics. You will take an overall perspective, taking into account necessary parts and enabling system, and balance these in the best design solution. As a system engineer, you take the lead in generating and evaluating alternative solutions, test them to the requirements and customer needs, integrate them in a final solution and test, verify and validate the result. You will tap into the expert skills of the team and champion in project management and best practice product development. Ideally, you are also a pro-active communicator with the client.

What we are looking for

You have a Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent, preferably mechanical, mechatronics or electrotechnical
You are a creative thinker and you can balance that with practical action and setting clear specs and requirements
You understand different materials and production methods
You are an expert in the process of product development
You have experience in balancing operational concepts with customer needs and functionality
You are experienced in the integrative approach of traditional multidisciplinary and inter-disciplinary approaches used in systems engineering
You have technical, practical, and scientific knowledge
You know your way around as a project manager: organizing, communicating, coordinating, and budget monitoring is going to be part of your life
You master the art of explaining ideas to people with varying levels of technical knowledge
You can prioritize in the blink of an eye and stay cool under pressure
