One of our core expertises

Virtual simulation is a tool that can drastically decrease your time to market by allowing you to test concepts in an early stage of the development process, or in conditions that are hard to impossible to mimic in a physical environment.

Our tools are often also used in a stand alone matter, to analyse and improve your existing systems. By simulating your system or process we can formulate solutions that solve specific problems or generally boost performance.

Voxdale is known for it’s expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD). A fair deal of our development projects and process improvement projects are linked to and initiated because of this.

2. Airshaper
An online DIY simulation tool

Do you quickly want to test the validity of a design? Is it too soon for a fully-fledged CFD project? Try Airshaper now!

Voxdale is co-founder and proud partner of Airshaper. With this online CFD tool you can upload your 3D CAD model and generate a basic aerodynamics simulation. The results get bundled in an extensive pdf report, explaining both the basics of CFD as the specifics of your simulation. Exactly what you need to choose a direction for your detailed design.

3. Wind Tunnel Testing
Voxdale is co-founder of BikeValley

Is your product already optimized? Are you ready for the final step of your homework? What better way to validate your design than to jump right into tests?

As co-founder of Flanders’ BikeValley, we are in the unique position to offer you physical aerodynamics testing time in addition to the virtual aspect. Get priority access to the wind tunnel facility housed in Flanders’ BikeValley, Beringen. We can also assist and/or correlate with virtual data.

RESEARCH & EDUCATION

Being innovation oriented we appreciate looking towards the future. We are involved in several PhD projects, take part in student jury’s and guidance of thesis projects/students.

Print-aid

Part of the PRINT-AID consortium funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant. The aim of our part in the project is to prove the value of developing a new generation of safer 3D-printed personalised medical devices with antimicrobial functionalities.

In LocoMotion

In a consortium with Uantwerpen, TU Delft and VLAIO this PhD project is all about applying mathematics to detailed scan data to accurately predict shape.

agrEUfood

How do you prevent products from being removed from the shelves in the future because they are contaminated with bacteria? Maastricht University, the ULeuven and IMO-IMOMEC of the Hasselt University have developed a sensor technology that can offer a solution! Through new biosensors can provide food products in a cheap and fast way during it production process are tested for possible bacterial contamination.
