Voxdale is co-founder and owner of Bike Valley in Beringen. Bike Valley Incubator is an open innovation center for the the cycling industry in Flanders internationally known as a true cycling paradise!
The innovation hub has a unique low-speed wind tunnel and climate chamber, where studies and tests are performed daily to optimise bicycle conditions.
I feel privileged to be part of Voxdale’s evolution from a "one-man" company to a fantastic multidisciplinary team! I’m grateful for meeting a lot of interesting people, collaborating closely with the team to get projects done on time, and working on more than 1000 different projects/products which all have their challenges, value and stories attached to them.

When put on a project here, it feels like starting an unknown mission. However, there's no reason to be stressed or scared, since you have a whole team to catch you when you stumble and put you back on your feet, ready to continue. As an intern, I always felt supported and felt I had all the room for trying things that weren't the "easy safe way". It's very nice having a team that supports each other's growth at and beyond work.

The client projects at Voxdale give me enough variety to never be bored. A product is not just a product. It has users, a design, mechanics, a controller that needs to be programmed, and cables that need to be wired, ... Voxdale gives me the opportunity to do all of these things, expand my knowledge and become a better engineer every day.

Mornings feel like travelling from one tribe to another. A friendly group of kind-of-crazy smart and unique people sharing a passion for hardware and innovation is the environment where I just love to spend my time. It's energizing! The inside jokes nobody understands unless you've been to the Voxdale yearly team weekends are golden. When stuck in my workflow, I oftentimes just go for a walk in our workshop to see what's happening on the working stations. Hearing and talking about the latest ideas, technologies and clients' ideas always make me realize how Voxdale is pioneering in its field.
